Three mounts, five euros apart in price, three completely different installations. This is the category where the wrong purchase is not a bad product — it is a product that cannot be fitted where you need it.
We stock all three. This page is about the checks that decide which one, and they happen before you look at the price.
The first check is VESA, not inches
Every mount connects through the four screw holes on the back of the screen. The distance between those holes is the VESA pattern, expressed as width × height in millimetres: 75×75, 100×100, 200×200 and so on.
Measure it with a tape before buying anything. A mount that lists "17 to 32 inches" is telling you a range, not a guarantee: a 32-inch screen with an unusual pattern will not fit, and a 24-inch screen with a standard one will.
The second number is weight. Every mount states a maximum, and it is the number that actually matters — a heavy 27-inch screen can exceed what a mount rated by diagonal suggests. Check both.

The €23,99 desk clamp arm
The Equip desk mount clamps to the edge of the desk and holds the screen on an articulated arm. For a monitor between 17 and 32 inches it is the most useful of the three, because it does something a stand cannot: it removes the footprint entirely.
That is the whole argument. A monitor on a stand occupies a square of desk in front of you, exactly where you want your keyboard. On an arm, that square is free, and the screen floats at whatever height and angle you set.
Two conditions. The desk needs an edge thick enough for the clamp and clear of drawers underneath. And the arm needs to be tightened properly — a monitor that sags slowly is an arm that was not.
The €18,99 desk stand
The Aisens stand with a rotating base does the simpler job: it replaces the monitor's own stand with one that rotates and tilts, on a weighted base rather than a clamp.
Choose it if your desk has no usable edge — a glass top, a drawer unit directly under the surface, a desk against a wall with a lip — or if you do not want to clamp anything. You keep the footprint; you gain ergonomic adjustment.
For a screen you rotate to portrait for reading or code, the rotating base is the reason to pick this one.
The €23,99 wall mount
The Equip fixed wall mount is rated for screens from 43 to 95 inches with a VESA up to 800×400. That is a television mount, not a monitor mount, and it is worth saying plainly: it is fixed, so the screen does not tilt or swivel, and it goes on a wall.
It is the cheapest way to hang a large television safely, and the price is low because it does one thing. What it requires is a wall you are allowed to drill into, and a fixing into something solid — masonry or a stud, never plasterboard alone.
If you rent, this is the one to discuss with your landlord first.
The check before you buy
- VESA pattern. Measure the four holes on the back of the screen.
- Weight. Compare against the mount's stated maximum, with margin.
- Desk or wall? A clamp needs an edge; a wall needs permission and a drill.
- Do you rotate the screen? Then you need the rotating base, not a fixed arm.
- Is the screen a monitor or a television? The 43–95 inch mount is for the latter.
Setting it up: height, angle and the cable
The advantage of an arm over a stand is not the desk space, it is that the screen can go where your eyes already are. The working rule: the top of the screen roughly at eye level when you sit straight, and the screen about an arm's length away. With a stand you accept whatever height the base gives you and prop the monitor on books; with an arm you set it and it stays.
Two details decide whether the installation feels finished.
The cable. An articulated arm moves, and a cable zip-tied tight to it will be pulled at the joint every time you reposition the screen. Route the cable along the arm with a little slack at each hinge, and leave a loop behind the VESA plate. This is the difference between an arm that still moves smoothly in a year and one that has chewed through a display cable.
The tilt. Screens mounted high — above a desk that also holds a laptop, or on a wall at standing height — need to tilt down, and a fixed mount cannot. That is the one ergonomic reason to prefer an arm over the fixed wall bracket, even when both would physically fit.
Drilling four holes you will not regret
A wall mount is unforgiving in a specific way: the VESA plate has to be level, at the right height, and fixed into something that will hold the weight. There is no adjustment afterwards.
Mark the plate against the wall with a spirit level, not by eye, and check what is behind the plaster before drilling. Masonry takes a masonry bit and a plug sized to the fixing; a stud takes a wood screw straight in; plasterboard on its own takes neither, and needs a fixing designed to spread the load behind the board. Then hang the plate, offer the screen up with a second pair of hands, and tighten the safety screws at the bottom of the bracket — the ones people skip, and the reason screens fall.
What you will not find on this page
No gas-spring arms and no ceiling mounts. Gas springs are a different price bracket and a different mechanism; ceiling mounts are for projectors and we stock those separately.
We also do not publish "maximum screen size" as the primary specification, because it is the least reliable number on the box. Weight and VESA are what a fitter would check first.
Delivery and returns
Delivery across the EU takes 3 to 7 business days, with shipping calculated at checkout by destination. Returns within 14 days. Every mount carries the 2-year EU legal warranty.
Check the VESA pattern before opening the packaging. It saves a return and, more importantly, it saves drilling four holes in the wrong place.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find my VESA pattern?
Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between the four screw holes on the back of the screen, in millimetres. 100 × 100 is the most common for monitors.
Can I use a wall mount on plasterboard?
Not on its own for a large screen. It must fix into a stud or masonry, or use appropriate heavy-duty fixings rated for the load.
Will a clamp damage my desk?
It can leave a mark on soft wood. Put a thin piece of card or a cloth between the clamp and the surface.
Can I mount a monitor in portrait?
With the rotating stand, yes, for screens whose drivers support it. With a fixed arm, only if the arm allows rotation.
Is the 43–95 inch mount suitable for a monitor?
Physically it may fit, but it is designed for televisions and it is fixed. For a monitor, the desk arm is the better tool.
What we do not sell, and why
We do not sell game subscriptions, digital codes or a trade-in programme, and we do not invent specifications that the manufacturer does not publish.
Delivery, returns and warranty
Orders leave our EU warehouse and arrive in 3 to 7 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and destination — we do not offer free shipping, and the cost is shown before you pay.
You have 14 days from delivery to return an item under EU distance-selling rules, provided it comes back in the condition it arrived with its accessories. Every item carries a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, handled by us rather than by the manufacturer, so there is one contact throughout.
